In Buddhism there is Dragon Kings and Dharma Protectors, which refers to the eight classes of supernatural beings as described in the Lotus Sutra, who have come to the assembly to listen to the Buddha’s teaching and are happy to abide by the teaching and have therefore become the Dharma Protectors.

The Sprinkle of Auspicious Dragons represents the focus to brighten up the mind in the learning of Buddhism, to sincerely reflect and repent in front of the auspicious dragons and to pray for the blessings by the Dragon Kings and Dharma Protectors.
