- Founded the very first non-profit haemodialysis centre amongst the Buddhist community in Malaysia.
1996
- Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre officially launched its operation, to offer medical treatment to dialysis patients of different races who are poor and in need of support.
1997
- 9th January - Sau Seng Lum Loving Charity Card was launched. This charity card is meant for long term fund raising for Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis and Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Strok Dan Pembangunan Masyarakat, to provide long term medical treatment to the poor and who are in need of support.
1999
- Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre signed the Memorandum of Understanding with University Malaya Medical Centre, to provide quality and improved dialysis treatment and services.
- 14th April (till 2002) - In promoting the values of filial piety and sense of gratitude towards the elderly, Sau Seng Lum first introduced Appreciating Senior Citizens Loving Charity Card in expressing gratitude and care to the elderly. The elder ones are entitled to certain percentage of discounts for their shopping at the designated stores or upon receiving medical treatment/services from medical service centre of Sau Seng Lum.
2000
- 10th September - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre organised an introduction ceremony for ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System.
2001
- Sau Seng Lum Loving Charity Health Campaign was introduced to provide mobile health checks and offer free medications to the general public.
- 2nd January - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Stroke Rehabilitation Centre started to operate and offer its services. The centre started to offer Chinese acupuncture services to the stroke patients who are in need of support.
- 18th March - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Hemodialysis Centre was reconstructed and renovated into at two storey building, and has its official opening ceremony on this day.
- 22nd September - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Stroke Rehabilitation Centre officially held its opening ceremony.
2003
- 26th February - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre received the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System certification. On the same day, the centre received an achievement in The Malaysia Book of Records, as the first non-profitable dialysis centre in Malaysia to achieve the ISO certification.
2004
- 27th February (till 2015) - Sau Seng Lum officially launched a high technology treatment service, the Cholesterol Dialysis. It is the first non-profitable organisation in the country which provides treatment for familial hypercholesterolemia in Malaysia.
- 28th November – In 2004, the 4-storey building of Sau Seng Lum Dialysis and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre, located on a 2-acre land in Puchong was completed. It started its operation on 28th November. A grand charity sales and marathon event were organised and conducted on that day to raise fund for the foundation.
- 28th November (till 2010) - Sau Seng Lum Loving Charity Mobile Clinic was launched to provide medical consultation services and offer medicines to the community in the rural areas of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
2005
- 1st January - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Haemodialysis Department officially started its operations.
- 1st July - The Health Care Treatment Clinic was made available at 3rd floor of Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre, to provide various traditional chinese medical treatment services, which includes acupuncture and massage for stroke patients.
2006
- April - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Haemodialysis Department successfully obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification.
- 1st July - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Stroke Rehabilitation Department started its operations with the aim to provide community based rehabilitation programme such as Neurology And General Rehabilitation, Work Rehabilitation, Driving Rehabilitation, Sports Injury & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation etc.
2007
- Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Stroke Rehabilitation Department was recognized as a affiliated partner by SOCSO and developed good rapport with SOCSO ever since.
- 4th March - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre organised the Chap Goh Mei Charity Sales Carnival to raise funds for the Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Strok Dan Pembangunan Masyarakat.
- 16th September - A charity sale was held at the 155 Coffee Shop in Petaling Jaya (Old Town) to raise construction funds for Sau Seng Lum Diabetes Care Centre.
2008
- 16th February - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre organised the Happy CNY Charity Sales Carnival to raise construction funds for Sau Seng Lum Diabetes Care Centre.
- 16th April - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Stroke Rehabilitation Department successfully obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification.
- May - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Paediatric Rehabilitation Department was founded to provide rehabilitation programme to special needs children.
- 28th July - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Stroke Rehabilitation Department signed the Memorandum of Understanding with MASTERSKILL Nursing College.
2009
- 2nd March (till 2015) - Sau Seng Lum Diabetes Care Centre started its operations to provide one-stop centre for the treatment and care for diabetic patients.
- 28th June - Coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the founding of Sau Seng Lum Haemodialysis Centre, a 628 Charity Sales was held to raise funds for Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis.
- Year-end (till 2015) - In order to offer assistance to those who are disabled or immobile, Sau Seng Lum offers home visits and treatment by Chinese healthcare practitioners and volunteers.
2010
- 9th February - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Stroke Rehabilitation Centre has revolutionized treatment by replacing the traditional chinese acupuncture treatment with advanced technology in medical treatment i.e. LOKOMAT, to provide better quality of treatment and care to the stroke patients.
- 15th May - Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Paediatric Rehabilitation Centre started its operation. It provides various rehabilitation services and care to special needs children.
- 14th November - Sau Seng Lum Diabetes Care Centre organised a grand Diabetes Fundraising Carnival in response to the 2010 World Diabetes Day and to promote the diabetes awareness campaign.
2011
- 6th June - The first in Southeast Asia, the ARTIS Dialysis Machine from Sweden was introduced and launched at Sau Seng Lum Haemodialysis Centre.
- 22nd October - Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre was officially opened and graced by the former Dato Menteri Besar of Selangor, YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Khalid bin Ibrahim and witnessed by 800 special guests.
2013
- 24th May - Sau Seng Lum World Children Care Foundation was established to provide humanitarian aid and charitable relief services to children worldwide, and aims to educate children to set exemplary love and learn to spread positive energy. In addition, the Foundation also raises funds for education, medical support, basic necessities, environmental improvement, and social support to assist needy children.
- 25th August - Rev. Chang Heng aspired to build and form non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education) which combines professional treatment care and education, to offer the opportunity for the special needs children to receive formal education and transformation for a better future.
2014
- With the establishment of the Sau Seng Lum World Children Care Foundation, the Share Share Love Dana Group has also been formed. Since 2014, this dana group visits disadvantaged local children, including children from single-parent families, and further understand their living conditions and basic needs. In addition, the dana group also distributes nutritious food, books, stationaries, school uniforms, daily necessities, etc.
- 3rd March - Sau Seng Lum officially launched the Early Intervention Programme. This programme was specially designed to offer learning opportunities to the special needs children who are receiving rehabilitation treatment, it also lays the foundation for their formal education.
- 17th May - Share Share Love Dana Group went to Kampung Raja in Cameron Highlands to care for the underprivileged aboriginal children.
- 16th November - Sau Seng Lum organised the Special Needs Children Charity Sales Carnival with the theme “The Stars Shine When Love And Hope Are Present” to raise funds for the non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education).
- 5th December - The Share Share Love Dana Group began to visit markets around Selangor and KL areas to conduct charity sales, including Imbi, Cheras, OUG, Pudu, SS2, Serdang, Sri Petaling, Puchong Batu 14, Puchong Town Centre, etc.
2016
- 23rd February - Hundreds of special guests had witnessed the historical moment of non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education) groundbreaking ceremony.
- 23rd November - Sau Seng Lum was invited to attend the award ceremony organised by SOCSO. The Return To Work Programme by Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Strok Dan Pembangunan Masyarakat was presented the silver award for Best Rehabilitation Provider.
2017
- 4th February - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the 23rd Chinese New Year Angpow Giving Session to Dialysis Patients.
- 5th February - Sau Seng Lum World Children Care Foundation organised a charity dinner themed Phoenix Ascent, Love Permeates at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis & Stroke Rehabilitation Centre. All proceeds raised were channelled to the construction fund of the non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education).
- 7th April - The 8th dialysis patient of Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis successfully completed a kidney transplant operation at GHKL.
2018
- 25th February - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the 24th Chinese New Year Angpow Giving Session to Dialysis Patients.
- 25th February - Sau Seng Lum World Children Care Foundation organised a charity dinner themed 99 UNITE for Love at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis & Stroke Rehabilitation Centre to raise construction funds for the non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education).
- 1st March - Sau Seng Lum Neurology & General Rehabilitation Department and Sau Seng Lum Work Rehabilitation Department were merged into Sau Seng Lum General Rehabilitation Department.
- 7th October - The grand Piling Ceremony was held for the non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education). More than 300 guests witnessed the historical moment.
2019
- 17th February - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the 25th Chinese New Year Angpow Giving Session to Dialysis Patients.
- 17th February - Sau Seng Lum World Children Care Foundation organised a charity dinner themed Boundless Blessings Great Perfection at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis & Stroke Rehabilitation Centre to raise construction funds for the non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education).
- 16th April - The Trustees of JCKL Charitable Foundation Registered and The Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur visited Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre.
- 27th May - The 9th dialysis patient of Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis successfully completed a kidney transplant operation at UMMC.
- 18th July - The new committee members of Katorea-Kai (The Japanese Women's Association) visited Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre.
2020
- 2nd February - Sau Seng Lum World Children Care Foundation organised a charity dinner themed Million Hearts As One, Full Blossom of Great Aspiration at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis & Stroke Rehabilitation Centre to raise construction funds for the non-profit Sau Seng Lum International School (Special Education).
- 3rd February - The Selangor Women's Welfare and Charity Organisation (PEKAWANIS) visited the rehabilitation departments of the Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis & Stroke Rehabilitation Centre and delivered goodies bags and angpow to dialysis patients.
- 8th February - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the 26th Chinese New Year Angpow Giving Session to Dialysis Patients.
- 30th September, 1st, 5th and 6th October - The Master of Medical Science students of University Malaya visited Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre and Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Dialysis Centre to conduct research on the detection of fatty liver and liver cirrhosis of dialysis patients.
- 15th October - The 10th dialysis patient of Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis successfully completed a kidney transplant operation at UMMC.
- 3rd November - The 11th dialysis patient of Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis successfully completed a kidney transplant operation at UMMC.
2021
- 8th and 10th February - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the Chinese New Year Cookies Distribution from Benevolent Donors to Dialysis Patients. Angpow and cookies were distributed respectively to dialysis patients at Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre and Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Haemodialysis Centre.
- 23rd September - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple delivered mooncakes to dialysis patients from Sau Seng Lum Haemodialysis Centre.
- 30th September - An underprivileged and visually impaired dialysis patient from Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre completed the Arteriovenous Fistula (AVF) Creation surgery, and the operation fee was fully sponsored by Sau Seng Lum Loving Charity.
- 23rd to 25th December - The call for Charity Supplies for Flood Victims initiated by Sau Seng Lum Loving Charity has received an enthusiastic response. Volunteers and donors collected and sent the supplies to the flood-stricken areas of Bentong, Lanchang, and Mentakab in Pahang State on these 3 days to deliver warmth and love to the local victims.
2022
- 17th and 18th January - Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis organised Chinese New Year Alms-Giving Activity and delivered hampers to dialysis patients at Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre.
- 19th and 20th January - Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis organised Chinese New Year Alms-Giving Activity and delivered hampers to dialysis patients at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Haemodialysis Centre.
- 5th March - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the 28th Chinese New Year Angpow Giving Session to Dialysis Patients.
- 7th June - The 12th dialysis patient of Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis successfully completed a kidney transplant operation at GHKL.
- 9th June - An underprivileged dialysis patient from Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre successfully underwent the Arteriovenous Fistula (AVF) ligation procedure, and the operation fee was fully sponsored by Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis.
- 14th and 15th September - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple delivered mooncakes to dialysis patients and nurses from Sau Seng Lum Haemodialysis Centre.
- 20th October - An underprivileged dialysis patient from Sau Seng Lum (PJ) Haemodialysis Centre completed the Permanent Catheter Creation surgery, and the operation fee was fully sponsored by Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis.
2023
- 29th January - Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple organised the 29th Chinese New Year Angpow Giving Session to Dialysis Patients and Sau Seng Lum Loving Charity Education Fund to Children of Dialysis Patients.
