The Ching Ming Festival is the most important traditional festival to commemorate the ancestors, and to express gratitude to the ancestors. On this special day, the livings will offer prayers to the deceased for the benefits of all; it is also to accumulate merits for the livings, and the cultivation of compassion and wisdom in the lights of the Buddha.
