2025-05-12 Sau Seng Lum Puchong Exhibition Centre Wesak Day

Wesak Day, a radiant tribute to the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana, came alive with heartfelt devotion at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Exhibition Centre. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a wave of devotees poured in, eager to bathe the Buddha statue, light lamps, and offer prayers for blessing, immersing themselves in the profound joy of the Dharma while purifying their hearts and minds.

With reverence, attendees lit heart lamps for themselves and their loved ones, offering them to the Buddha as they prayed for divine light to guide their paths and bring peace to body and soul. Each flickering flame stood as a powerful emblem of gratitude, hope, and boundless blessings, embodying a heartfelt aspiration for spiritual upliftment.

The centre buzzed with exploration as visitors and devotees immersed themselves in its captivating Buddhist cultural treasures. From the awe-inspiring Ten Great Disciples of the Buddha to the serene 33 Goddess of Mercy, the sacred Mani Wheel, the majestic Five Hundred Arhats, the contemplative Heart Sutra Maze, and the tranquil Great Wall of Buddha ~ Shrine of the Medicine Buddha, every corner radiated the wisdom and artistry of the Dharma, captivated and inspired all who attended.

The day also featured a charity sale, with proceeds dedicated to supporting the operational costs of Sau Seng Lum Special Needs School. In addition, vegetarian food was served to foster meaningful connections and planting seeds of kindness that blossomed throughout the day.

Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Exhibition Centre opens its doors every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., warmly welcoming all to pay homage to the Buddha, find serenity, and discover the timeless beauty of Buddhist culture.
